Are you speaking of Hurricane Helene? There is wide spread horrible flooding in the Southeast. The government has totally dropped the ball (on purpose). Here is a good glimpse of it from the Dr. Aranda substack:
Yep, that's just the tip ... our two sons left Texas to go help keep the generators running that are powering the cellular equipment that is now key in the recovery.

It's pretty horrible, worse than Katrina. Entire towns have been swept away.
There are far worse calamities than cell towers down.
