“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”
― Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn, The Gulag Archipelago 1918–1956
Am I being overly dramatic or even hysterical with that quote? I don’t think I am. 🤔
In my (re-)presentation “They Took Theo”, Un-silent drew my attention to the above presentation by Odessa Orlewicz, which I’m presenting in tandem with Steve Eye’s most recent presentation. While Steve spoke in broad terms of government corruption before zeroing in somewhat on British Columbia, Odessa speaks directly of what the New Democratic Party under David Eby have accomplished over the last 2-3 years, drawing particular attention to:
“The Legal Professions Act” (Bill 21)
💣 Eliminates lawyer’s independence from the state.
💣 Destroys the ability of lawyers to act for clients and causes, free from interference by state or state appointed authorities.
💣 Prevents the legal profession from fulfilling its essential democratic function as an effective safeguard against unconstitutional laws, the abuse of power by state authorities and tyranny.
“The Emergency and Disaster Management Act” (Bill 31)
💣 In 13 parts with 209 sections; the previous Emergency Act comprised only 28 sections.
💣 Under this Act, anything that the Minister and his delegated authority wish to declare as an emergency, can trigger the exercise of frighteningly unlimited and unfettered power:
In plain English, it gives the Premier, any of his ministers or their immediate subordinates, the ability to declare an emergency or disaster for any reason (if they haven’t made it up out of whole cloth à la the Covid Fraudemic) and then, to do, pretty much as they damned well please. 😱
What the new laws are doing:
💣 Restricting or extinguishing rights.
💣 Imposing severe penalties for non-compliance and dissent.
💣 Granting unelected administrators or political appointees the power to make laws free from oversight by the public, free from oversight by members of the legislative assembly and free from oversight by the judiciary.
💣 Granting such powers to appointees who lack independence, competence and accountability.
💣 Eliminating the established requirements of legitimate, democratic law-making.
Odessa mentions in passing “The Health Professions and Occupations Act” (Bill 36) which does to medical doctors and all health professions in British Columbia what the Legal Professions Act does to lawyers: Destroys their ability to ensure patient rights to accept or refuse medical treatment or experimentation, and impairs their duty to provide advice and treatment based on the needs and choices of individual patients, free from the threat of punishment and loss of license; IOW you now visit a doctor, at your peril... 😳
These totally unethical Acts were passed under highly questionable circumstances and result in massive amounts of power being directly transferred to the Provincial Government, in effect turning the Province into a Bolshevik, totalitarian hellhole; there’s no other adjectives for it; the best thing any of us who live here can do is — get the Hell out of here. Trouble is, where are we going to go? As Steve detailed, this monumental malfeasance and corruption seem to be the sine qua non of all governments, everywhere. All our politicians have been corrupted and bought, all of them are utterly unscrupulous and bereft of honor… and as my friend Stefan remarked, while you can vote your way into a Marxist government — which is what we now have in British Columbia — you have to shoot your way out of it.
I’m not going to pull any punches: David Eby, Mark Farnworth, Bowinn Ma, Diana Gibson, Adrian Dix, Jagrup Brar, Randene Neill et al; (Adrian Dix and “Butcher Bonnie” Henry chiefly brought me to grief during the Covid Fraudemic) — but really, all of them: They are the worst criminals imaginable. They are all psychopaths. Over the course of the Fraudemic they deliberately fomented mass hysteria and panic over a phantom pathogen which — if it ever existed and I very much have my doubts — had a mortality rate of 0.07% (or was it 0.03%?🤔). If the original standards of The Nuremberg Code (subsumed in Canada under The War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity Act) were applied, these people, all of them, should hang. End of discussion. If they’re capable of crimes like that, if they could arrogate powers to themselves like this, they are capable of anything, and if you want to know what “anything” means, watch The Checkist, which I posted earlier.
The dire situation in British Columbia pertains, to pretty much all polities in the West. What are any of us to do? Where are any of us to go?
What does it take, to wake humanity up?
